So Me and a co-worker (RAY) headed out Friday Morning , after a few minor repairs on the boat ( DANG BATTERY SWITCH) we lunched at Dodge Island , Then headed to the FISHER ISLAND ferry landing , Pilchers were all over the place , I got there first and Ray loaded up with the sabiky rod , We headed out the cut and were greeted by what felt like 30MPH winds , Out came the foul weather gear . We set up a drift in 200 feet not to long after we were in 60 feet , so we headed out again this time I put the big sea anchor out and our drift was slowed to a more manageable speed . We repeated the drift in various places with no luck . At Noon we had enough and headed back , Tally for the day , 30 pilchards and 1 Squirlfish . O well guess Ill have to try this fishing thing again darn it
